# Book consultations on your calendar

> Connect Google Calendar, Outlook / Microsoft 365, or Calendly so your AI receptionist offers real open times and books the consultation while the caller is still on the phone.

When you pick **Book the consultation**, she reads your real free/busy data, offers
times that are actually open, and books it before the caller hangs up. No
double-bookings, no "someone will call you to schedule."

## Connect a calendar

Three providers, in the builder's **goal** step or later in
**Dashboard → Agent → When a new client calls**.

    Paste a personal access token from **Calendly → Integrations → API & webhooks**,
    then pick the event type she should book.
  </Card>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose your provider and sign in">
    A popup opens for Google or Microsoft. Approve calendar access and it closes
    itself.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the calendar she books into">
    If you have several, choose the one your consultations live on. With Calendly,
    pick the **event type** instead.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set her booking rules">
    See below — this is what keeps her from offering a 7pm Sunday slot.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the openings she'd offer">
    The panel shows **the next openings she'd offer** right there. If those look
    wrong, your rules need adjusting, not your calendar.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  If Google or Microsoft says the app isn't verified, you can still continue — Lawtte's
  calendar access is under Google review. Nothing is shared beyond free/busy and the
  events she creates.

## Her booking rules

| Rule                  | What it controls                      | A sensible answer |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------- | ----------------- |
| **Days she can book** | Which weekdays are bookable at all | Mon–Fri |
| **From / Until**      | The window inside those days          | 10:00 – 16:00     |
| **Length**            | How long the consultation is          | 30 minutes        |
| **Buffer** | Gap she leaves around existing events | 15 minutes |
| **Notice** | How soon from now she may book | 2 hours |
| **Up to** | How far ahead she may book | 14 days |

<Tip>
  Set **From / Until** narrower than your office hours. Consultations at 8:59am and
  4:59pm are the ones that get rescheduled. Notice is the other one worth tuning: at
  2 hours, an attorney gets warning; at 0, she can book someone into your next
  fifteen minutes.
</Tip>

## No calendar access? Use a scheduling link

Pick **Send callers a scheduling link instead** and give her any public booking URL
(Calendly, Acuity, TidyCal, a Microsoft Bookings page). She emails it after the call
and the caller picks their own time.

You lose the live booking — some callers never open the email — but it takes ten
seconds to set up and needs no access to your calendar. You can switch to a connected
calendar later without rebuilding anything.

## What she puts on the invite

The caller's name, their number, and what the call is about — the intake she just
took, so the attorney opens the event already knowing the case. The caller gets a
confirmation from your calendar provider the same way any other invitee would.

## Troubleshooting
