# Tell her about your firm

> Everything your AI receptionist can know about your law firm — where you take cases, who the attorneys are, your address and website, common questions, and free-text notes she answers from.

The intake list controls what she **asks**. This controls what she can **answer**.

Everything here lives in **Dashboard → Agent → Things she can tell callers**.

## The fields

| Field | What she does with it |
| ------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Where you take cases** | She kindly turns away callers outside your area, instead of taking an intake you can't use. E.g. `California and Nevada`. |
| **Attorneys and team**               | She can say who's who. E.g. `Ana Reyes, Tom Cole`.                                                                        |
| **Main office phone** | The number she gives a caller who wants to reach a human another way. |
| **Website** | She reads it to learn your firm — and re-reads it as you change it. |
| **Office address** | For callers who ask where you are or need to come in. |
| **Common questions** | Question-and-answer pairs, in your exact words. |
| **Anything else, in your own words** | Free-text notes for everything that doesn't fit a field. |

<Tip>
  **Where you take cases** is the highest-value field on this page. A receptionist who
  politely turns away out-of-state callers saves your team more time than any other
  single setting.

## Common questions

Pairs, as literally as you'd say them:

| Question                     | Answer                                     |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| Do you offer payment plans? | Yes, the team sets those up. |
| Do you handle workers' comp? | No — we can point you to someone who does. |
| Is parking free? | Yes, in the garage on 2nd Street. |

She uses your answer when it's asked, and doesn't improvise one when it isn't.

## Anything else, in your own words

The catch-all. Write it the way you'd brief a new hire on their first morning:

> We don't take workers' comp cases. Parking is free in the garage on 2nd St. Ana
> handles all custody matters; Tom takes the injury cases. If someone asks about a
> case we already declined, take a message — don't say we declined it.

Things worth putting here:

* Case types you **don't** take, and where you send those callers.
* Which attorney handles what.
* Practical details: parking, which floor, after-hours entry.
* Anything a caller asks weekly that isn't a legal question.

## Saving and timing

<Note>
  She learns your notes **and** your website. Saving re-reads both, so give it a
  minute or two before she can answer from something you just changed. Calls in that
  window still work — she falls back to everything else she knows.
</Note>

## What she will never say

No matter what you put in these fields, she won't:

* Give legal advice, or predict how a case will turn out.
* Quote a fee you haven't explicitly given her.
* Discuss the details of an existing client's case.
* Imply that an attorney–client relationship exists.

Those guardrails aren't editable, and that's deliberate — they're what makes it safe
to let her answer every call.
