Add the connector
1
Copy the Lawtte server address
2
Add Lawtte in Grok Bot
In a Grok Bot chat, ask: “Add the Lawtte connector.” Or add a custom MCP
server in Grok Bot’s settings and paste the server address. Leave any
advanced settings empty.
3
Sign in when the connect card appears
Sign in to Lawtte and approve access for your firm’s receptionist. If you
don’t have a Lawtte account, this creates one. One sign-in covers one
receptionist; to switch firms or receptionists, connect again.
4
Try it
For example:
List my recent Lawtte calls.
Check whether we can call Maria Lopez at (916) 555-0142 before dialing.
What Grok Bot can do
- Set up calling for your firm, and check what’s still missing.
- Check a call before dialing. It runs the same rules as a real call without placing one.
- Place an outbound AI call. A real call always needs your confirmation in the chat.
- List calls and read transcripts, inbound and outbound.
- Draft a receptionist and give you the link to activate her on Lawtte’s site.
- Save outbound agents you can reuse for repeat calls.
What Grok Bot can’t do
- Take payment or accept terms. Those happen only on Lawtte’s activation page.
- Turn a receptionist on. Only activating on Lawtte’s site does that.
- Dial without your confirmation.
- Call someone without consent, or someone represented by counsel. Lawtte refuses these calls.
- Accept card numbers, government IDs, dates of birth or passwords. Tools refuse them.
Disconnecting
Open Dashboard → Connect, find the app under connected apps, and choose Disconnect. Access ends immediately, and your receptionist and call history stay in your dashboard.Grok Bot uses the same server and tools as Claude. If something isn’t working,
see troubleshooting.
