Outbound AI calling can burn a firm’s phone number and its reputation. These limits are enforced server-side, before any dialing, and they fail closed: if a check cannot be completed, the call does not happen.

50 calls per day

Per firm, resetting at UTC midnight. The 51st is refused.

One call per number every 2 hours

A repeat inside the window is refused, so nobody gets called twice in a row.

9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. local

Local to the recipient, derived from their area code. Unknown zone means no call.

Three-minute ceiling

The objective agent is capped at 180 seconds per call.

Do Not Call

If someone asks not to be contacted, the agent acknowledges it and ends the call politely, and the number is added to your firm’s Do Not Call list. Nothing in Lawtte dials a listed number again — and if the list cannot be read, the call is refused rather than risked. Manage the list in Dashboard → Settings → Do Not Call.

Disclosure and scope

Every connector call opens by identifying itself as an AI assistant calling on behalf of your firm and noting that the call may be recorded. The agent does not give legal advice; it says the firm will follow up. On voicemail it leaves a short message with the firm name and a callback number.

Spam labeling

No limit can undo a carrier marking your number as spam. Sustained high volume, short calls, and repeat dialing all contribute. Keep campaigns small and spread out.

Minutes

Connector calls use your Studio minutes, the same as a call to her phone line. dry_run calls use none — they run every check and dial nothing.
