The same receptionist answering your phone can answer from a button in the corner of
your website. A visitor clicks, talks, and the intake arrives exactly as a phone call
would.
Install it
Open Website widget in your dashboard
Dashboard → Website widget.
Enter the website it will live on
Under Your website, list the domains — comma-separated for more than one.
Publishing is refused without at least one, and she won’t appear on a site that
isn’t listed.
Customize the look
The greeting message, launcher, panel, text and button colors, avatar, and which
corner it sits in.
Turn on Publish widget and save
Then copy the one-line script.
Paste it into your site
Immediately before the closing </body> tag, or into your site’s global
footer / custom-code area. Publish and test on HTTPS.
WordPress: a Custom HTML block, or a site-wide footer-code plugin.
Webflow: Project settings → Custom code → Before </body>.
Squarespace: Settings → Advanced → Code injection → Footer.
Changes you make in the dashboard update every site the widget is already installed
on. You never have to replace the snippet.
Why the domain list matters
Two reasons, both worth knowing:
- Every web conversation uses your plan’s minutes.
- A copy of your widget on someone else’s page would be collecting intake in your
firm’s name.
So only the domains you list can open a conversation. Subdomains of a listed domain
are included.
What visitors see
The panel tells them, before they click, that they’ll be speaking with an
automated assistant and that conversations are recorded, transcribed, and sent to your
firm. An “AI” badge sits beside her name, and your office phone number is offered as
the way to reach a person instead.
Don’t ask us to remove the disclosure or the AI badge — they’re required by the
Terms of Service you agreed to, and they’re what keeps the widget defensible if a
client ever asks who they were talking to.
Their browser asks for microphone permission only when they actually start a
conversation. Nothing records before that.
Privacy
Pages that host the widget get no product analytics and no session replay from
Lawtte, and no identifier is stored for a visitor who came to your law firm’s site.
That’s deliberate: someone looking for a divorce attorney at 1am shouldn’t be tracked
for it.
Testing it
Preview it in the dashboard first, then install it on a real HTTPS page and try
Chrome, Safari, and your phone — including denying microphone permission, so you know
what that visitor sees. Dashboard previews and test calls don’t use your minutes.
